Welcome to the 6th Friendship Force Canadian Conference

Québec City is recognized for its gastronomic excellence. Renowned chefs are competing to offer the best flavors of the cuisines of the world.

The only remaining fortified city in North America, Québec City is also a modern and cultural city with its museums, its university and its research centres.

The City of Québec celebrated its 400th anniversary in 2008. Founded by Champlain in 1608, it is the cradle on French civilization in America.

The historical sector where the Conference will be held became in 1985 the first urban centre in North America entered on the list of UNESCO world patrimony.

Already in 1870, Governor General Lord Dufferin proclaimed Québec as one of the most picturesque and one of the most beautiful cities in the world.

WHEN AND WHERE ?

From Wednesday May 16 to Saturday May 19, 2012. In the heart of Old Québec. All activities of the Conference will take place in the Hotel Manoir Victoria, a 4-star establishment located right in the heart of Old Québec. For more detail, click on the Programme and Registration tabs.

COST

The registration cost of $225/person includes the welcome cocktail on Wednesday, access to workshops and conferences, breakfasts, lunches and health breaks on Thursday and Friday, as well as the banquet-dinner on Friday evening.
